Before our eyes, the Coronavirus has caused the world to stop turning. Many of us are going to be spending a lot of time around the house with no sports to watch. We figured now would be a good time to grab some popcorn and relive, in no particular order, some of our favorite moments in Saints’ history!

Drew Brees Breaks the All-Time Passing Yards Record

Drew Brees loves breaking records on Monday Night Football. This was no different on October 18th, 2018. Heading into the Saints’ week 5 match up against the Washington Redskins, Drew Brees was within touching distance of breaking the record. It took him less than a half to take his place in NFL history. In fitting fashion, Drew was able to hit Tre’Quan Smith for a 62 yard, record breaking touchdown!

Steve Gleason Revives New Orleans

We all know how Hurricane Katrina changed the city of New Orleans forever. There are few things that New Orleanians love more than their Saints. On September 25th, 2006, the first game back in the Superdome, Legend Steve Gleason gave Saints’ fans a memory that we will all remember forever. To make it even sweeter, it was against the Dirty Birds…

Garrett Hartley Causes Pigs to Fly and Hell to Freeze Over

This call is like music to Saints’ fans ears. As we all remember, the 2009 NFC Championship game was a nail biter between two of the greatest quarterbacks to ever do it. After a legendary interception by Tracy Porter to send the game into overtime, Drew Brees led the boys down the field on one of the most clutch drives you’re ever going to see. All of this led up to Garrett Hartley cementing his name in Saints’ history and sending the Saints to Miami!

The Saints found themselves down 10-6 at halftime of Super Bowl 44. This led to one of the gutsiest calls in NFL history. Sean Payton told his team at halftime that they were going to run “Ambush.” As they say, the rest is history!

Tracy Porter Jumps the Route and Seals the Deal

This moment is many Saints’ fans fondest moment of their beloved team. Just two weeks after picking off Brett Favre to allow the Saints to make it to the Super Bowl, Tracy Porter jumped the route on Peyton Manning’s pass and sealed the Saints’ first title in franchise history!

Any moments you think deserve to be on this list? Make sure to leave them below! Stay safe, Whodat Nation! Hold it.
