These throwback Bigelow backstage interviews are a must watch rabbit hole for all attitude era assholes like myself. Title Match Wrestling is releasing these brilliant pieces of footage on YouTube regularly. You can find some nostalgic, juicy, will not move ya eyes type content.
Like this piece right here. Bam Bam Bigelow backstage during the ECW days in 1998, really running his fucking gums. Bigelow fucking slams Triple H, X-Pac, and Scott Hall all in one pretty legendary sitting. Keep in mind, at this time Bam Bam had already left WWF and moved on to ECW. Tons of shit going through Bam’s head at this time, and he wasn’t wrong about everything he said.
Essentially, Bam Bam is venting to this random 90’s cat about how exactly the WWF went about releasing him. He blames the former staple “The Kliq” for his departure from the WWF. The Kliq was a mid 90’s wrestling faction that included Scott Hall, Shawn Michaels, Kevin Nash, X-Pac, and Triple H. All men that would go on to have a huge impact on the Monday Night War in the late 1990’s. Bam Bam sat back in 1998 during the midst of it all and told some asshole how he really felt.
Bigelow’s Backstage Best Quotes
On Scott Hall:
“Razors too blowed up man. Ya know? He’s into the coke. I don’t know personally. From what I understand he likes to put shit up his nose. Next thing he’s putting things in his veins. Who know’s whats gonna happen, man? But, ya know…Here’s a guy who’s making $900,000 a year and is stone cold miserable.”
On Triple H:
“Another scum bag, what a piece of shit. I can’t believe they gonna give this guy the ball and actually think he’s gonna take Shawn’s place and draw money.” Reporter: “Yeah, I don’t understand that one.”
On Triple H:
“The only guy I don’t think I’d even say hello to would be Helmsley. Brown Noser, I use to watch him carry Scott Hall’s, Shawn Michaels, and Razor Ramon’s bags! He carried their bags, thats how much of a pussy he is, he was carrying their bags!“
“Sean, The Kid. He ain’t doing nothing. Guys ain’t drawing a dime. If ya smart, we right on ya tail. Go ahead and push them idiots.”
The rest is history and that is an understatement.
