Drew Brees will be back for yet another journey with the black and gold. The Saints have fell short of the Super Bowl the last three seasons, despite having the best regular season record during that span. Brees announced his urge to make another run while looking at some fucking mountains, collecting his championship thoughts, and plotting his revenge to capture another Super Bowl Trophy for the city of New Orleans. Wake up guys, Drew Brees at 41 still gives the Saints the best opportunity to win a title.
Everyone can slow that Taysom Hill train down a tad this morning. Nothing against Taysom as an impactful player for the New Orleans Saints, but he is not the 2020 answer. Brees is the best path to the Super Bowl for the bless you boys, and that will remain relevant until proven otherwise. Drew Brees played career best football late in the 2019 season.
Brees Back To Rumble
Drew will be coming back with an assassin like attitude to win now. It will benefit the team, and get players to run through brick fucking walls. Expect a relentless New Orleans offense in 2020. Unfortunately, this news comes as a double edged sword. Now that Drew Brees has decided to return to the Big Easy, Teddy Bridgewater almost certainly will be embarking on his next journey. You gotta wish this dude the best. Teddy has been the most enjoyable, phenomenal human since coming to the city of New Orleans.
Usually we would chat it up about Drew’s stats, but honestly it is time to take a significant look at how long Drew Brees has been dominant. He is now one of five quarterbacks in the history of the NFL to play 20 seasons. He didn’t mosey through those son of a bitches either, he has played at the highest damn level. Congrats to Drew on still chasing a glorious end game.
