American Top Team Has Had Enough
The dog and pony show that is Colby Covington has come to an end. Well at least at American Top Team. The separation seemed inevitable after the feud with Jorge Masvidal and Joanna Jedzejczyk. The rift between Colby and Dustin Poirier seems to be squashed. But even then you can’t be shitting on the top three fighters out of American Top Team and not expect the boot.
“Hey man, I’ve asked ya to stop talkin shit about the people in the gym for a while now, and I get that you gotta do what you gotta do, but it’s time both we move on, right?” – Dan Lambert
Since Colby only has value in his shit-talking persona that wasn’t going to happen. I can’t see any gym opening their doors to Covington at this point. He is going to have to train lone ranger style for now, Or as he puts it “Colby Covington Incorporated”
Colby Covington told @arielhelwani his beef with WWE champ @DMcIntyreWWE is real and McIntyre “crossed the line.”

Covington: "I promise you … I'm gonna go find Drew McIntyre, hunt him down and take his soul out of his body.” Video: https://t.co/D3WIjE0vc8
We aren’t sure if he was kicked off the team or left on his own, but as of right now, He is no longer affiliated with ATT. Long term his little act wont pay off. It helped short term but cost him friends, reputation, and his trainers. Maybe Covington bounces back. Honestly I think he bellator bound. Good luck Colby.
