Drew Brees and the New Orleans Saints have just come to an agreement. A two year deal worth around 50 million dollars. At roughly $25 Million a year, this was a deal that was never in doubt. Both sides had already come out and said the deal would get done. Many think this will be the “last ride” for Brees and with a Super Bowl win, he may ride off in to the sunset.
Brees Running It Back?
If this is indeed the “last ride” for Drew, then we need to go for broke. Push all of the chips into the middle and lets go for it. As previously reported by NolaSportsHub, The Saints and David Onyemata were able to come to an agreement yesterday. It’s not often that you are able to bring back the entire starting D-Line. Drew Brees was and is the greatest thing to happen to the city of New Orleans. He is coming off of a career year in efficiency and accuracy. I have no doubt the Saints will have the tools to make another run at the Super Bowl. Alvin Kamara will be back to full strength and we still should have some room to make some moves in free agency. Not to mention, the front office has been spectacular in the draft. So it’s time to strap up Who Dat Nation, he’s back! Hold It.
