Dynasty Trade Targets

I’ve put together a list of cheap dynasty trade targets to snag in your leagues before the season starts. I don’t know about you guys, but I like to shop the clearance rack for bargains instead of paying full price. Everyone on this list can be acquired for pennies on the dollar compared to their potential in fantasy.

Running Back Dynasty Trade Target #1 Dare Ogunbowale

I’ve got a good feeling about Ogunbowale this year. He is a cheap asset to acquire with the potential to be a solid week to week flex in PPR. The 3rd down RB for dump-off king Tom Brady is bound for an uptick in usage from last season. Even with Ronald Jones and the addition of Ke’Shawn Vaughn, I still think Ogunbowale holds on to his role in the offense. At his current price point in dynasty, he is worth a look with minimal risk. Worst-case scenario he’s beaten out and becomes irrelevant, but you shouldn’t have to give up much to go get him considering the fact that he is ranked as RB 94 by Fantasy Pros.

#2 Nyheim Hines

Like Ogunbowale, Hines steps into a new situation with a veteran QB who likes to dump off to his RBs out of the backfield. Hines is set up for a great season in PPR even with the team drafting Jonathan Taylor. Taylor still has to learn the offense without OTAs and possibly even training camp at this point. Even when he does get up to speed, he is going to be competing with Marlon Mack for early-down work while Hines retains the passing down work. Sitting at RB 57 Hines can easily be a steal that costs you some chump change.

Wide Reciever Dynasty Trade Target #1 Preston Williams

Williams had an unexpected break out in his rookie campaign before it was derailed by injury. The Dolphins #2 WR last year, Williams played 8 games and saw 60 targets before tearing his ACL. There is a real chance that at some point during the season DeVante Parker gets dealt and Williams gets a shot at the #1 spot. With Tua possibly coming into the fold at some point Williams is looking really good sitting at WR 52.

#2 Jamison Crowder

Crowder has the potential to become a PPR monster as Sam Darnold’s security blanket. The Jets let Robby Anderson walk in Free Agency and replaced him with Breshad Perriman and the rookie Denzel Mims. Those two are not scaring me off of Crowder one bit. He is only 26 years old which makes him a great player to target in dynasty and is currently ranked as WR 62, which means you can get him at a great price.
