Jamal Adams has been frustrated in New York for a bit of time now. The former LSU star and 6th overall pick in 2017 feels he is ready for the big boy money. Fellow members of his draft class have already seen extensions. Pat Mahomes, Christian McCaffery, and Myles Garrett have all received extensions. Jamal Adams just told the New York Jets to kick rocks.
Jamal Adams Said Pay Me Or Trade Me
Adams has given the Jets the ultimatum that we’ve seen so many players give before. A while back he told the Jets that they can pay him or trade him. Today, Adams made the choice for them. He wants to be the highest paid Safety in the league. This would require a price tag that eclipses that of Chicago’s Eddie Jackson at $14.6 million. Yikes.

Jerry Jones Is Drooling
We have all heard the rumors that Dallas wants Jamal Adams and Jamal Adams wants Dallas. This news must be like music to Jerry Jones’ ears. Dallas has been trying to acquire a top Safety for years now. We all remember the Earl Thomas exchange a few years ago in the tunnel at AT&T Stadium. After Thomas found his way to Baltimore, Jones shifted his focus to Adams.

It will be interesting to see how this situation plays out. Adams has come out and said that he would welcome a trade to the Cowboys, Ravens, Texans, Chiefs, Eagles, 49ers, and Seahawks. It is being reported that the Jets have no intentions of trading him. There also has not been any news in regards to working out a new contract. All we know is that Jerry Jones and Cowboy fans around the globe are drooling over this like a fat boy in a candy store. Hold it.
