LSU Basketball

Don’t look now, but the LSU basketball team just might be the best in the SEC. On January 27th the Tigers cracked the top 25 rankings, coming in at #22. Now on a ten game win streak, Saturday the Tigers took down the Ole Miss Rebels 73-63 to move to 17-4 overall and stay undefeated in conference play.

Tigers Marching To The Tournament

Led by leading scorer Skylar Mays, who is averaging just under 16 points a game. The Tigers look like a lock for the big dance in March. The X-factor for the Tigers is Emmitt Williams, this man is the second coming of Dennis Rodman. Averaging 14 points, and 7 rebounds a game. The guy plays with high energy. He crashes the offensive glass like a madman. Also, don’t sleep on Trendon Watford. The 6’9 freshman was a McDonald’s All American and is averaging 13 points a game. Then, there is Marlon Taylor. Marlon can absolutely jump out of the gym. This guy is another freak for LSU basketball.

Last year’s LSU Team?

Remember last year? When LSU basketball made it to the big dance, and got all the way to the Sweet Sixteen. Eventually, losing a tough one to Michigan State. I think they have the talent to go on another deep run, so buckle up Tiger fans because it’s about to get interesting. Hold It.
