NCAA Saturday Picks

It’s Saturday, and if you have been following along, then you know what that means. Big Easy Bets is back with more NCAA Saturday winners. We have been absolutely on fire as of late. After going 2-1 on Tuesday, we are sitting at 24-14-2 and patiently waiting for this hot streak to come to an end. Everyday the goal is the same, make sure today is not the day the streak ends. I will say, I don’t love the board today, but I rarely do. There are a lot of fishy looking spreads, but let’s get into it.

#4 Baylor Vs West Virginia

The once top ranked Baylor Bears are in Morgantown today to take on West Virginia. Now I have gone back and forth on this game over and over and I don’t love it. This will be a scrappy and brutal game in the paint. West Virginia has been on a downward slide after losing 6 of their last 8 games. WVU needs this game badly and they will come out fired up, but their inability to score the basketball scares me. Only shooting 28% from deep as a team, they can’t throw it into the ocean. If Baylor can keep West Virginia from dominating the offensive glass then I like the Bears. Top 5 ranked team getting points with an 18-10 ATS record?

Pick: Baylor +1

#6 Kentucky Vs Florida

It’s no secret that I love betting on Kentucky. They are on the road today to take on the Gators. Florida has been extremely up and down this year, but they are a different team when playing at home. Of their 11 losses, 7 have come on the road. Florida’s best player is Keyontae Johnson, but the X-factor for them to win this game will be Kerry Blackshear. The Virginia Tech transfer hasn’t lived up to preseason expectations. I’m rolling with the Cats again, the combination of guards and Nick Richards in the middle is just too much. Immanuel Quickley will probably be the SEC player of the year and you know I love his 93% free-throw shooting. Coming off of a home loss to Tennessee, Coach Calipari will have his team ready to go.

Pick: Kentucky +3

Rhode Island Vs UMass

The Rams are on the outside looking in when it comes to the big dance. They need to win here today to even have a chance to make the tournament. On the road today to take on UMass who has won 4 of their last 5 games. The Rams play great defense and have done well on the road this year at least from a point spread standpoint. 8-4 ATS in their last 12 road games and 6-2 ATS in their last 8 road games against a conference opponent. Fatts Russell is averaging 19 points a game for the Rams, but he has been really struggling as of late. I expect him to get back on track with a big game today and the Rams to make a late season push to try to squeak in to the tournament

Pick: Rhode Island -2.5

NCAA Saturday Winners

Well, there we go. Like I said, I don’t feel wonderful about the games today, but these were the 3 I liked most. We are roughly two weeks out from March Madness, it’s right around the corner. Any questions about a game we didn’t cover, feel free to message us on twitter @BigEasyBets. Good luck to everyone and let’s keep increasing the bankroll before the tournament. Hold It.
