The last four tradition grabs on RB&R Day have been impactful. No shortage of food on the plate at any of these places. Everybody better on the beans. Let’s get right into this mfer.
RB&R Day 126
Kenner Seafood was the selection. Ya know, Kenner is home of the most construction (olympic level building going on) and the most seafood shops. Kenner Seafood is just one of em and they got something going on over there. A pork chop that may weigh more than a bow flex dumbbell if we being honest. Fresh off a Saints W, which has been a rarity this year.
Lose ya nuts off in Joker Poker while ya wait on ya hot plate. That’s the type of place we dealing with.
Everything was pretty good, but the coleslaw on the plate is a fucking tragedy. In 129 Mondays, I’ve never seen somebody put coleslaw on a red bean plate. A river of coleslaw too, like nobody in their right mind would eat that much slaw. Look at this fucking pork chop though.

That grocery store tradition at Zuppardo’s. I’m always hesitant to go in a grocery and get red beans on Monday.
Ya just never know what is going on with it, how long it’s been out and if they got love in it. Zuppardo’s gonna take care of ya though and everything in that mfer is fresh as a newborn.
Big ole monster Camellia beans and some fried chicken that’ll have ya taste buds dancing. UNBELIEVABLE desserts in this mfer.

Formerly known as dump on the hump, Family Cajun Kitchen is now what resides next to the marina hotel in the parish. When you see this place, hit the fucking brakes.
I saw one dude sitting in this place and that mfer was happy as can be. The folks at Family Cajun Kitchen just know what they doing when it comes to a hot plate. THIS pork chop was one I will never fucking forget.
Big enough to keep the sun out ya eyes and one of the tastiest fried pork chops I’ve ever had in my life. Unbelievable experience over at Family Cajun Kitchen. One of my personal favorites.
Home of a really hungry ass cat too, he gonna be all up in ya shit when he see’s ya eating. Cat had me in my feelings.

128 was fucking fantastic, but somehow RB&R Day 129 was able to impact me just as much. Vucinovich’s is a whole vibe from the second you walk in the mfer.
Rusty Vucinovich belongs on HBO, this mfer is a whole character. Been there over 40 years and he still behind the counter taking orders and talking his nuts off to everybody.
I saw like four folks who follow RB&R Day there when I was there and that tells ya enough. PREMIUM experience with phenomenal food. I got the fried chicken breast w/ my tradition and had a blast. This place will go down as one of the best tradition stops I’ve had.

There goes four bangers in a row. Tradition continues to grow on the social media scene and ya gotta love to see it. Even got red bean hoodies leaking from Camellia. What a time to be a red bean fan. We better on the beans.
