The New Orleans Saints have officially signed their entire 2020 draft class. Before yesterday, Cesar Ruiz, Zach Baun, Adam Trautman, and Tommy Stevens were not officially on the team, but the Saints owned their rights. All four players have been signed and here are the contract details for the Saints 2020 draft class!
Cesar Ruiz
Cesar Ruiz, as we all know, was a shock selection on draft night. The 24th overall pick will step right in to the starting Center role this season. The Saints locked in their top pick with a 4 year $12.67 millon contract. This contract comes with a fifth year option that the Saints will have the choice to pick up after 2022-2023 season. King Cesar should have a bright future ahead of him in NOLA!

Zach Baun
The Saints got a steal on day 2 of the draft when Zach Baun fell all the way to the 74th overall pick. The Saints had been trying to trade up all night long before trading the 88th overall pick and a 2021-third rounder to snag Baun. The linebacker was projected to go in the first round by many, but concerns over a foot injury and a diluted sample at the combine caused him to fall. Baun is officially a Saint having signed a 4 year $4.81 million dollar deal!

Adam Trautman
The Saints gave up all the rest of their picks, 130th, 169th, 203rd, and 244th to move up to 105th overall to take Adam Trautman. The Tight End out of Dayton was considered the best TE in the draft by many. He is about 6’6 255lbs, has great hands, and is a good route runner. In his Senior year, Trautman caught 70 passes for 916 yards and 14 TDs. The Dayton stud officially became a Saint signing a 4 year $4.49 million contract!
Tommy Stevens
The man who Sean Payton hopes can be the next Taysom Hill was the Saints’ final selection. The Saints traded a 6th rounder next year to move up to the 240th pick in the 7th round to take Stevens. Stevens is officially a Saint having signed a 4 year $3.37 million contract!
The entire Saints draft class is now ready to get to work. Preseason is cancelled, but the Saints rookies are in NOLA, and having signed their deals, are ready for training camp! Hold it.
