It was announced this morning that, Todd Gurley is signing with the Atlanta Falcons. A one year deal will bring Gurley back to where he played his college ball. This has been a very strange start to free agency and it doesn’t appear to be slowing down. The Falcons were a pile of hot garbage last year, so this strikes me as a PR move. Atlanta did absolutely zero due diligence in regards to Gurley before signing him. There is no way they were able to have their team doctor check him out that quickly, especially with what is basically a nationwide quarantine going on. With that being said, If Todd Gurley and his grandpa knees can hold up, this might not be a bad move by the Dirty Birds. Does it scare me? No not at all, but Gurley is only 25 years old.
Todd Gurley Going Home To Georgia
It seems that every big name free agent is looking to find a home in the NFC South. Well, there is a silver lining in all of this. The Rams are spiraling out of control. They just released Todd Gurley and Aaron Donald was not very happy about it. They are over paying Jared Goff by a lot, and they don’t have a first round pick for at least two years. I hope going “all in” two years in a row was worth three points in a Super Bowl loss. Hold It.
