The Los Angeles Rams dropped the hammer on Todd Gurley and his Rams’ career today. After struggling to find a trade partner they outright cut someone who many would consider the best back in football just two short years ago. Here’s an interesting tidbit. 22 RBs were selected in the 2015 NFL Draft. After today’s developments, none of them remain on the team that drafted them. Like the other 21 players, Gurley will be looking to take his talents elsewhere. The two teams who reportedly had the most interest in trading for him were the Miami Dolphins and those Dirty Birds. However, let me sell you this idea…

Steve Wyche appeared on NFL Network, and he appears to be on the same wave length. Todd Gurley taking his talents to NOLA makes a lot of sense. Gurley just got cut with 2 years remaining on his massive contract, so he is getting money from the Rams regardless. He can afford to take a cheaper contract from a contender and try get a ring. Also, as we all know, Gurley has been dealing with knee issues since college. However, there’s an easy fix to this problem. He needs a running mate. How does splitting carries with a guy named Alvin Kamara sound? Not to mention, we have another starting caliber back in Latavius Murray. Those three guys along with Michael Thomas, Jared Cook, a receiver from the draft, and a guy named Drew Brees at the helm with Sean Payton, the offensive mastermind, pulling the strings…sign me up!

Mickey Loomis and Co. are doing everything they can to retool this roster for another Super Bowl run. This could be another step towards accomplishing that goal! Do not forget to pick up your mayo merch and stay safe, Whodat Nation! Hold it.
