Back in Action

We’re backkkkkkkkk (*Sam Ehlinger voice). UFC 249 is the first sign of some significant sports action in 2 months. I’m chomping at the bit just thinking about it. Even better than sports being back… we now have something to bet on! Here are a few of my favorites for the night.

2 Leg Parlay: Wedrum/Mitchell (+109)

Werdum is a heavy favorite and pairing him with Bryce “Thug Nasty” Mitchell is the only way to get some decent odds. Both these guys are going to win easily. Put this in and don’t even think about it…

Michelle Waterson (+140)

The “Karate Hottie” mom is being completely disrespected with these odds. I think she bounces back from the Jedrzejczyk loss and returns to the Waterson of old. Victory on Mother’s Day weekend for her.

Donald “Cowboy” Cerrone (+127)

The last time Cowboy and Pettis fought, Pettis won on a first round K.O. Cerrone has had 26 fights since and Pettis 14. I think Cerrone comes back from his loss against McGregor and knocks Pettis out late.

Rozenstruik vs. Ngannou – Ends in Round 1 (+132)

Listen guys, there is absolutely no way this fight goes the distance. There will be a K.O. from these heavy hitters, and I don’t even think they make it out of the first round. I got Ngannou in the fight, but I’m even more sure of a K.O.

Dominick Cruz (+205)

If I had to put my life on the fight I’d pick Cejudo, but I see value in Cruz at +205. Yes, I know he hasn’t fought in 3.5 years, but he’s done this before and knows how to win. I think in order for Cejudo to win he has to finish him. If this fight goes the distance, which it may, don’t be surprised if Cruz’s hand gets raised.

Tony Ferguson (-173)

I can’t wait to see Ferguson and Gaethje duke this one out. It’s going to be a blood bath folks. Both these guys are going to go forward the whole fight. There’s like a 1% chance this goes the distance. Someone’s getting knocked out or choked out. I believe Ferguson ends Gaethje in the late rounds of an instant classic. Blades and Shades with the belt at the end of UFC 249.

Hold it.
