Columbus, Ohio

Number 5

Columbus, Ohio ranks in at number 5 on our list. The last time the UFC held an event in Columbus was March 6, 2009. Ten years ago, Quinton “Rampage” Jackson beat Keith Jardine in the main event, and Shane Carwin beat Gabriel Gonzaga in the co-main. None of these fighters are still active on the UFC Roster. The largest city in Ohio has become a solid producer of top-level talent including; Heavyweight Champ Stipe Miocic, former Bantamweight Champ Cody Garbrandt, Matt Brown, and UFC Rookie Aleksa Camur. I am a firm believer that the guy who holds the Heavyweight belt is the BMF on the Planet, and that guy is from Columbus.

Potential Card Headliners

Stipe Miocic Vs Tyson Fury

The Twitter chatter has already started hyping up this fight. After all, we got to see Conor Mcgregor cross the lines of combat sports. It is about time we find out what happens when a Champion Boxer faces an MMA Champion in the Octagon. The PPV sales would be insane. The downside is it may be what everyone would expect, a few leg kicks, a take-down, and Fury gets submitted.

Cody Garbrandt Vs. Dominick Cruz 2

Best fight for both guys and the division is packed. Garbrandt needs his confidence back, and Dominick needs to avenge the embarrassing loss, emphasis on embarrassing. Garbrandt legitimately held a dance party during their fight.

Check back tomorrow for #4 on our list!
