Valentina Shevchenko Vs Jennifer Maia

Valentina Shevchenko is set to return to the octagon at UFC 255, after being sidelined for most of the year due to an injury. Her opponent? Jennifer Maia, a grappling specialist from Brazil, is currently training with Amanda Nunes. Holding two of Valentina’s three losses Nunes knows what it takes to defeat Shevchenko, with that said both of those bouts were at 135, which plays heavily to Nunes’ advantage.

So what happens Saturday night? Long story short Maia gets pieced up on the feet. Shoots for a takedown and can’t hold Valentina down. Shevchenko ultimately wins via KO. I think it happens inside of three rounds. So Saturday night set your bets for a Valentina Shevchenko win via KO. If there’s and under 3 1/2 take it on top too.

I’ll be honest the fight should be your co-main event. More people are gonna buy a female flyweight title fight than the males. A long departure from Dana White yelling the UFC will never have women fight. Anyway, Figueiredo looks to defend his belt for the first time after winning the vacant belt against Joe Benivedez in July. Perez is on a three-fight win streak but in his fight against Benivedez, he was Kod in the first round. I don’t think this fight lasts long and Figueiredo retains his belt.
