All Out War

Dustin Poirier And Dan Hooker In An All Out War

You heard it first in Clemons’ Fight Night Report, Dustin and Dan were going to have an All Out War! These two fighters approach the game the same way and that is, kill or be killed. The Apex center sports a 25′ octagon, this fight could have happened in a phone booth. The fight started with what seemed to be a fast-paced flurry with Dan Hooker landing the cleaner and more accurate shots. After the second round, it became apparent the shots Dustin was landing made a larger impact. Dustin was able to gain the edge in the judge’s eyes to get the decision victory.

This fight had other UFC vets taking to twitter to praise these two athletes for the performance they put on. This fight will go down as Fight Of The Year.

The Curse of the Irish Dragon

One thing mentioned prior to the fight is this curse that seems to be going around if a fighter happens to beat Paul Felder. The combined record of those few fighters to earn a victory over Felder is now 0-5. Felder announced his retirement after the last loss to Hooker but I have a feeling he will be back. If not the curse will finally be put to rest Undefeated.

This main event had a hard act to follow after Mike Perry put on One of the greatest post-fight interviews of all time prior to the main event.
